If you found this page in your server logs: AttestaBot is the crawler behind attesta.example, an EU web-accessibility scanner. A scan was requested for your site by one of our users (or via our free public check).

How it behaves

• Respects robots.txt (user-agent token: attestabot; falls back to *).
• Crawls same-origin pages only, up to a small per-plan budget (5–250 pages), one page at a time.
• Only reads publicly accessible pages; never submits forms, never logs in.
• Rate-limited hard on our side: the same domain can't be re-scanned within minutes.

Opting out

Add this to your robots.txt and AttestaBot will refuse to scan your site, including when users request it:

Disallow: /
